At Burntcoat Head on the Minas Basin, the tide can rise over 15 m. At low tide you can walk on the sea floor among red rock flowerpots. The park has no admission fee.

How to get it

  1. Check the park's tide table and plan to arrive near low tide.
  2. Drive to 627 Faulkner Road in Noel, East Hants, and walk down to the beach.
The catchOpen May to October. Guided tours and the gift shop cost extra. Leave the sea floor well before the tide returns.
